Nepal's Premier Master's in Management
The Master of Business Studies (MBS) is a 2-year, 4-semester semester-system postgraduate program under Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Management. It is designed to enable students to work as competent managers and to meet the demand for higher-level managers in organisations — particularly in the functional areas of management: accounting, marketing, finance, and general management.
Upon graduation, MBS students are equipped to function as managers in business, industry, government, and non-government sectors — within and outside Nepal. The program integrates professional career counselling (PCC) and total professional development (TPD) to ensure holistic growth of each student.
The MBS pedagogy is research-based and project-oriented, with a Continuous Assessment System (CAS) that ensures consistent academic engagement. Students benefit from model classes using multimedia and IT, regular project and research work, paper presentations, and mandatory field studies including corporate tours and an industry-based internship.
