ORIENTATION SESSION FOR SKILL LAB
An orientation session was conducted with the presence of both teaching & non-teaching staff to provide the core knowledge on “Skill Lab”. The short and quick orientation session was provided to the educators with the motive to let them know about the role of academia and industry.
Skill lab has been collaborating with many colleges and universities from different parts of Nepal like; Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Birgunj, Hetauda, and Janakpur. One of the main targets of Skill Lab is to reduce the unemployment rate from 26% to 24%, in the context of Nepal.
Similarly, Skill Lab is about to open a new product named Career Service Center (CSC) which looks forward to providing relevant job offers, competency tests, student skill tests (live), etc. Likewise, once the skill test is done the students will get scored for their performance. Skill Lab shall also provide a potential place where tutors and video learning platform will be able to participate in a data camp. More than 800 courses are available for the students to choose their subjective field as per their willingness. The data camp training will be free of cost for the students and after the completion of their data camp training, students will be certified with a globally recognized certificate.
We are happy to declare that Texas International Education Network has collaborated with Skill Lab and is equipped with skills lab services like; CSC, Data Camp, internship, and numerous job opportunities.
